The BBC Singers join forces with British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors (BASCA) to present a concert of Choral music inspired by refugees.
Historically, the plight of refugees has provided artistic inspiration for composers and librettists, and this remains the case in the 21st century.
Alongside eight works submitted by composers for this project are two BASCA commissions from refugees recent and past Basel Saleh and Michael Graubart, as well as works by two prominent British female composers Cecilia McDowell and Joanna Marsh.
Free tickets for BASCA members can be reserved by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Tickets reserved this way will guarantee entry and allow queue jump access.
Free tickets for non-members are available via the BBC website here. Please note: the BBC release more tickets than there are places to ensure a full house so cannot guarantee entry and advise arriving early to avoid disappointment.
