An atmospheric 6 part piece for SSATBB which is a setting of a prayer by Lancelot Andrewes (1555-1626) from his Preces Privatae. Inspired by Rhineberger’s AbendLied, Evening Prayer uses the same 6 part line-up, slightly adapted to include a baritone (bass 1) instead of a second high tenor.
